2. (superscript ⟨𐞠⟩, IPA) [ʎ]-release of a plosive (e.g. [ɟ𐞠], sometimes implying an affricate [ɟ͜ʎ̝]); [ʎ]-coloring; or a weak, fleeting or epenthetic [ʎ].

Usage notes

The implication that the superscript indicates an affricate is especially strong when this is written ⟨𐞠̥⟩ with a voiceless base letter, as the proper lateral-fricative letters ⟨𝼆⟩ and ⟨𐞡⟩ were only made official in 2015; or when written ⟨𐞠̝⟩ with a voiced base letter.
