::: yes you did. In these cases, the statement can still be made by making a small (dummy) edit and adding the statment out of sequence in the edit history (it is better than doing nothing). If so, putting in the time and date of the original edit as part of the comment will help clarify what the edit means. -- PBS (talk) 18:31, 11 February 2021 (UTC)

I'm afraid I'm completely lost here. My latest translation is Heinrich de Ahna. Can you show me how it should be, according to your indications ? Tomorrow will be de:Marienkirche (Prenzlau). Copyright attribution when translating and copying from German Wikipedia

You may wonder now I ended up looking at two pages you created recently:

It was because both articles appeared in Category:Articles incorporating DNB text without Wikisource reference. They did this because not all the templates DNB were converted to DNB-IDN. The text at the top of the category goes into more detail about this issue.

Thanks for reminding me about the template DNB-IDN. Someone already told me about this issue (maybe was it you ?), I copied the model somewhere and unfortunatly, I lost it. I've copied it again in my list of templates et all.

As with the creation of Leo Haas you did not add inline attribution to the edit summary of Max Kurnik.

If you did copy and translate the articles from German Wikipedia, for copyright reasons, you must add an edit with a edit history comment in both articles stating that you did copy the text (See WP:TFOLWP, a section in the guideline Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia). Not to do so is a breach of the Wikipedia:Copyright policy.

You should go back through any other articles or part of articles that you have created by copying and translating text from other Wikipedia articles, and in future add appropriate copyright to any new articles that you create by copying and translating from other Wikipedia articles. NB as Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia makes clear this also applies to copying text from one English language article to another one.

I'm sorry I don't understand what you mean here. For every article I translate, I mention the origin of the text in the talk page of the translation. After nearly 5,300 translations here (I only made 8,900 on the fr. Wiki), this is the first time someone raises this point. Don't expect too much from my feeble neurons or what is left from them. I'm weak in English, as for HTLM, don't even mention it. ~Sorry. LouisAlain (talk) 16:33, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
A edit summary of your translation (here the first edit) should contain "Content in this edit is translated from the existing German Wikipedia article at de:Leo Haas; see its history for attribution." I hope I did understand that correct. Grimes2 (talk) 17:53, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
