  •  Additional information needed. In order to facilitate and expedite your request, please provide diffs to support your case. Please give two or more diffs meeting the following format:
  1. At least one diff is from the sockmaster (or an account already blocked as a confirmed sockpuppet of the sockmaster), showing the behaviour characteristic of the sockmaster.
  2. At least one diff per suspected sockpuppet, showing the suspected sockpuppet emulating the behaviour of the sockmaster given in the first diff.
  3. In situations where it is not immediately obvious from the diffs what the characteristic behaviour is, a short explanation must be provided. Around one sentence is enough for this. Sir Sputnik (talk) 04:17, 30 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Oshwah: I'm adding two other articles which might help tip the balance:
  • JS Kabylie (a favourite of theirs): "AchilleTalonnade"[8] - "Jesaispas123445"[9]. Notice how both use Correction in their edit summaries.
  • Stade Abdelkader Khalef both "Jesaispas123445"[10] and "Fasterenergie"[11] tried to change the name.

These IPs (all from the same location) are targetting the same articles as the sockmaster with the same POV edits, consisting mainly of either adding WP:OR and irrelevant sources or deleting content (compare these two edits[12][13]). They are also IP hopping to edit war on the Kabyle people article. M.Bitton (talk) 12:14, 24 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

Yet another sockpuppet of Noname JR has been identified on the French Wikipedia project.

In his argument, he clearly highlighted the articles that this IP has just modified (Lounès Matoub: [15]) and this IP relates to the same articles as Noname JR more generally (Kabyle and Algerian articles). In addition, this range of IP addresses seem to be those used by the sockpuppet of Noname JR (see [16]). Thanks in advance Askelaadden (talk) 22:01, 8 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

1) The IP is using the same ISP and is from the same geolocation as the other IPs that have been reported previously. 2) Their edit was followed by "Motecrok"'s edit in an article that is closely associated with the master's favourite subjects (the Kabyles and Kabylie). 3) Motecrok is now edit warring over the name, just like the previous socks. M.Bitton (talk) 15:06, 15 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

As expected, the IP is now targetting the articles that were previously edited by Attilart (another globally locked sock of "Noname JR"). M.Bitton (talk) 16:49, 15 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Another IP (same range as above) has targetted the article Boulifa again, while "Motecrok" removed the Arabic name (the sock master's signature edit) from the French version of Si Mohand (the article that was edited yesterday by the IP). Pinging Do not follow (an admin on fr.wp who is familiar with the modus operandi of the sock master). M.Bitton (talk) 14:30, 16 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This new editor is edit warring over what was added by 2A04:CEC0:104D:A7E1:0:45:A3F1:C01 (an obvious sock of Noname JR, whose IPs have been reported and blocked on numerous occasions). The fact that they are editing the same articles that have been targetted by the sockmaster in the past (as Silksyummy and Fasterenergie among others) is also too much of a coincidence to be coincidence. Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

Although I can't really put my finger on it, there is definitely something very familiar with the way this "new editor" is approaching the the sock master's favourite subject (the Kabyles). The fact that they keep pretending not to understand what they did (they made a false claim) is also something the SM would do. M.Bitton (talk) 18:09, 25 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This edit of theirs confirms my suspicion, as the main article (Lalla Fatma N'Soumer) has been targetted before by the sock master (using one their usual IPs). Their response (below, after following me) is exactly what I would expect the sock master to say. M.Bitton (talk) 18:24, 25 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
