Borrowed from French bilboquet.

bilboquet (plural bilboquets)
- A traditional children's toy consisting of a wooden cup with a handle, and a ball attached to the cup by a string; the player attempts to catch the ball in the cup.

Etymology[edit]
The first element perhaps an imperative form of Middle French biller (“to play boules”), the second a diminutive of either bouc (“goat”) or Middle French bouque (“boule”).[1]
