Zayed had arrived in the Ugandan capital along with a delegation of health officials earlier today.
The centre was established by a consortium of Egyptian private and state-owned drug manufacturers, including the Arab Company for Drug Industries and Medical Appliances (ACDIMA) and the Holding Company for Pharmaceuticals.
Egypt is keen to provide all means of support to improve the health system in Uganda and other African countries in light of strong relationship between Egypt and all African countries, read a statement by the health ministry.
