Madbouly's remarks came at a conference on the sidelines of the international exhibition in the UAE on Saturday.

The government has been keen on participating in different human fields in the fair, he said, adding the Egyptian pavilion showcases great Egyptian civilization.

Madbouly referred to good relations with the UAE, saying the exhibition is being held at a time when the world is facing a new challenge of Covid pandemic.

The exhibition offered an opportunity for further cooperating and rallying up efforts at the local, regional and international levels to confront any economic, social and environmental challenges, he added.

Madbouly also stressed that the Egyptian pavilion in Expo 2020 Dubai highlights integration with the world to achieve a better future through development initiatives in all walks of life nationwide.

Egypt's pavilion provides a chance for displaying investment opportunities in the country including industrial zones, most notably the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) and new cities, added Madbouly.

The pavilion is also promoting the flow of tourists into Egypt as a most important place of attraction on the global map, according to the premier.

He said the fair is themed "a relation which boosts the future", which, he added mainly reflects a message of peace, based on the great Egyptian civilization as a prelude to progress and prosperity to humanity at large.

The fair also spotlights current development and structural changes on all fronts toward a sustainable future for current and coming generations in Egypt, noted Madbouly.

He said he is upbeat to participate in this extraordinary event, which is convening amid very critical challenges worldwide.

Expo 2020 Dubai offered an important chance for boosting human bonds and peaceful coexistence as well as dialogue to overcome any challenges and achieve sustainable development for humanity at large, he added.

Accompanied by the planning and housing ministers, in addition to other senior officials,  Madbouly arrived on Friday in Dubai to inspect the Egyptian pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai.

The exhibition, held under the theme "Connecting Minds, Creating the Future", is expected to receive 25 million visitors from 190 world countries, with the number of visitors to the Egyptian pavilion projected to hit 2.5 million.
