90+4' El-Shennawi once again denies Australia, diving to his right to push out a low shot. 

90+2' The referee adds seven minutes of stoppage time. 
90+1' Egypt make a double substitution. Nasser Maher replaces the lively Ramadan Sobhi and Emam Ashour replaces rock-solid defensive midfielder Akram Tawfik. 

90' A low shot from Egypt substitute Ibrahim Adel is deflected for a corner. 
85' Hamdi buries home the rebound after some superb individual work from fellow substitute Nasser Mansi, who turns Kye Rowles inside out with clever twists before his tame shot is fumbled by keeper Tom Glover.

69' Egypt look composed, but they must be wary of Australia's threat. Spain go 1-0 up against Argentina, which means any victory for Egypt would take them through.

62' What a chance for Egypt! Rayan's superb pass releases Sobhi but the keeper rushes out to smother his attempted chip. 

61' Egypt make their first substitution. Versatile midfielder Ammar Hamdi replaces winger Salah Mohsen. 

56' A chance for Australia! Marco Tilio skips past a couple of challengera and cuts inside before feeding Conor Metcalfe, whose shot is blocked by El-Shennawi. 

52' Australia throw caution to the wind in the second half, but will Egypt take advantage of the gaps their opponents are likely to leave at the back? 

49' Egypt keeper El-Shennawi saves a long-range shot. As things stand, Egypt will reach the quarter-final.

35' A tame header from the out-of-sorts Salah Mohsen goes high over following a flick from defender Mahmoud El-Wensh. 

31' Ramadan Sobhi's defence-splitting pass catches teammate Salah Mohsen off-balance! 

30' A poor cross from right wing-back Karim El-Eraki goes out for a goal kick. 

27' Australia striker D'Agostino rises unopposed but he heads a left-wing cross high over. 

24' Egypt are still looking for their first goal of the tournament! They need to up their attacking game. 

21' Egypt are now finding it difficult to penetrate Australia's defence despite enjoying better possession. 

18' An angled shot by Taher is blocked by the defence and the ball goes out for a corner. 

16' Egypt ease off after making a strong start to the game. 

14' Australia striker Nicholas D'Agostino is receiving treatment. 

10' Ramadan Sobhi makes a surging run into the area and feeds Taher on the left, with the winger returning the ball to him. However, Sobhi's shot is blocked by the defence. 

9' Egypt's defender Hegazy heads away Australia's first corner. 

5' Salah Mohsen sends a far-post volley over the crossbar as Egypt apply intense early pressure. 

5' Egypt winger Taher cuts ahead of Thomas Deng to control a right-wing cross, but the ball slips out of his stride and Glover handles it.   

4' A chance for Egypt! A corner causes mayhem in the Australia area but Salah Mohsen fails to pounce on the loose ball, blasting his effort high over. 

1' Egypt send a long ball upfield by Australia keeper Tom Glover rushes out to clear it.
