In September, the 29-year-old has claimed more records including both his 100th career Premier League goal and his top-flight century for the Reds, who remained unbeaten in 2021-22.
Salah made a blistering start to the new season, scoring nine goals in as many appearances in all competitions, including six in the Premier League.
"Salah claimed 69 per cent of the vote for the PFA accolade to see off competition from Michail Antonio, Cristiano Ronaldo, Antonio Rudiger, Ismaila Sarr and Ivan Toney," read a statement on Liverpool's official website on Thursday.
The Egyptianinternational was named in a 30-man shortlist for the 2021 prestigious Ballon d'Or award as he narrowly missed out on the Premier League's top scorer award last season after finishing with 22 goals, just one behind Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.
