At first the company sold just false eyelashes. But since its founding in 2013, the line now carries over 140 products from eyeshadow palettes to foundations to liquid lipsticks and makes around $200 million in sales annually, according to Forbes. The beauty mogul’s net worth was estimated to be $610 million in Forbes’s 2019 list of America’s Richest Self-Made Women. As the coronavirus pandemic prompted lockdowns and economic crises around the world, Huda and her sisters and husband, who help run Huda Beauty, all chose to forgo their 2020 salaries. Huda also pledged to donate $100,000 to 100 freelance makeup artists struggling with a lack of work during COVID lockdowns.
