Kristin Schaefer

Kristin Schaefer played a key role for one of the biggest transactions in Postmates history: the company’s sale to Uber for $2.65 billion earlier this year. Schaefer, 37, has been at the delivery service for seven years, helping lead its marketing, analytics, finance, and business strategy. She has overseen the company’s expansion into hundreds of new cities, led the debut of the company’s merchant and partner membership programs, and helped the service raise more than $1 billion in funding. Under Schaefer’s leadership Postmates has grown on average 200% annually over the last six years, according to the company. She also started the process of filing for an initial public offering before Postmates ultimately decided to sell to Uber instead.
