Peter Szulczewski

You have to be pretty ambitious to try to take on giants like Amazon and Walmart in the intensely competitive e-commerce market. But Peter Szulczewski has done just that as CEO of the popular e-commerce platform Wish, which has carved a niche for itself as place where people can buy whatever goods tickle their fancy from China and other overseas markets. Tenacity and perseverance have so far paid off for Szulczewski, who grew up in Warsaw before moving to Canada with his family. After attending the University of Waterloo, Szulczewski landed a gig at Google. It wasn't long before he and his cofounders imagined Wish. Last summer the company reportedly raised $300 million, valuing Wish at more than $11 billion and ensuring that the company has enough cash to make many of its dreams come true.
