Robin Arzón

  • Company
    Peloton
  • Age
    38
  • Title
Head instructor and VP, fitness programming
Anyone who has taken one of Arzón’s cycling or running classes on the home fitness platform Peloton knows that she doesn’t take no for an answer. She demands the best of the “hustlers” that take her class and of herself. The former corporate litigator got into athletics in her early twenties after being taken hostage by a gunman in a New York restaurant. Running became an escape and a way to process her trauma; it would eventually lead to her career. Arzón joined Peloton as an instructor in 2014 after reading about the nascent startup and reaching out to cofounder John Foley. She was promoted to vice president of fitness programming in 2016 and has been one of the faces of the platform’s explosive growth.
