Guy Fieri

The Food Network celebrity chef and host of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives is no stranger to philanthropy. When California struggled to contain wildfires in recent years, Fieri, who grew up in Northern California and launched his restaurant empire there, mobilized teams to prepare and serve meals to exhausted firefighters and first responders. And when the COVID-19 pandemic devastated the restaurant industry, Fieri raced to the aid of the kinds of mom-and-pop restaurants and workers he has long spotlighted on his signature show, partnering with the National Restaurant Association to create the Restaurant Employee Relief Fund in March 2020. With the help of more than 50 companies and organizations and 15,000 individual donors, the fund raised $21.5 million, providing 43,000 restaurant workers nationwide—60% of whom are women and more than 50% of whom are minorities—with $500 grants.
