Add 'Test access' button to New Portfolio editor
When adding a new local portfolio in an electronic collection we will always test access before the task is completed.
Currently we have to click 'Save and done', search for the portfolio and then test access. If the link is incorrect, we have to edit, save, and test again.
Please add the 'Test access' button in the New Portfolio editor as in the Electronic Portfolio Editor to save us time and extra clicks.
A new page action is added that enables the user to save the newly created portfolio and test the access simultaneously.

Hi Dana,
Are you planning to keep the 'Save and Done' button as well or change it completely to 'Save and Test Access'?
I ask this, because for institutions who purchase eBooks according to title by title method, the access for single titles is not immediate, and thus the 'test access' option won't be relevant here. It will only be relevant to check if the links work or not. Therefore, I think you should separate the buttons to two: 'Save and Done', 'Test Access', and after the access is tested the user will be directed back to the portfolio form to correct/add more information and then he/she will click on 'Save and Done'.Thanks,
Ruhama. -

Another feature that would save time when creating new local portfolio would be having fields for Publisher, Copyright year and Edition in the editor. Otherwise we need to go to MD editor afterwards and fill these in manually.
We propose these new fields:
Publisher -> MARC 264 $b
Year -> MARC 008 Position 7-10
Edition -> MARC 250 $a
