"He personally was a casual gamer," Canessa explained. "He loved Zuma in particular. And so he wanted to actually give feedback on the experience. His kids were little at the time and so he said: 'This is actually something for the first time that I can play with my kids at home on the weekend.'"Interestingly enough, Gates was so invested in Zuma, that he's credited for the creation of one of its modes. "He is actually the guy who came up with the colorblind mode—because he's colorblind—that we actually ended up implementing in all of the PopCap games and most of the XBLA games that were color dependent," Canessa added.
