- Dickens Charles (results should include biographical information as well as critical analysis of the author's work)
If you are unsure of a subject heading used in the catalog, try an Advanced
Keyword search.
SUBJECT SEARCH looks for works on a topic
based upon subject headings assigned by the Library of Congress.
- Use a subject search to find materials about a person as well as a topic. You have to know at least their last name.
- Type the LAST NAME FIRST.
- Use upper or lower case letters.
- Punctuation is optional; you may leave out commas, colons, periods or apostrophes.
- If you are unsure of the assigned subject heading or you aren't having any luck finding your topic, try an Advanced Keyword search.
