CNRS and Imperial College London expand partnership

In addition to existing collaborations within the CNRS-Imperial International Research Laboratory in mathematics, IRL Abraham De Moivre, CNRS and Imperial have launched two bilateral programmes to further strengthen their cooperation and extend its perimeter.

In addition to existing collaborations within the CNRS-Imperial International Research Laboratory in mathematics, IRL Abraham De Moivre, CNRS and Imperial have launched two bilateral programmes to further strengthen their cooperation and extend its perimeter.

–        Through the  “Imperial College London – CNRS PhD joint programme” call for proposals, ten PhD students will be recruited to join five collaborative research projects in the areas of ‘Mathematics, data and their applications in all areas of science’.

–          Imperial has also reinforced partnership with CNRS through a collaborative programme funded by the “Research England International Investment Initiative”. The first five joint projects were selected this year on the topic of “Data 4.0 – Leading the fourth industrial revolution with data-driven technologies”.

Finally, Imperial is also taking part in CNRS new IRN (International Research Network) in physics : “Quantum Fields and Strings – QFS”, led by the research unit “ Laboratoire de Physique Théorique et Hautes Energies (LPTHE) – UMR CNRS 7589”.
