Liwa Ansar al-Marja'iyya (Supporters of the Marja'iyya Brigade) is a Shi'a militia operating in Iraq, under the leadership of Sheikh Hameed al-Yasiri, who has served as guardian for the Shi'a religious authority (marja'iyya) in al-Muthanna province in the south of the country. In light of this link and the militia's name, the group's social media output has emphasized loyalty to Iraq's marja'iyya and Ayatollah Sistani.
