Schedule IUB library instruction

At Indiana University Bloomington, librarians can work with course instructors by request to provide instructional services for a class. Instructional sessions are designed to introduce students to the information resources and research strategies required to successfully complete assignments, papers, and projects for a specific course. Sessions cover a variety of topics, including searching specialized databases, finding scholarly research and publications appropriate for the course, and evaluating information. Most library instruction sessions are held in the library and taught by a librarian or graduate assistant. Librarians can also work with instructors to create online Course Guides, create tools to assess student learning, and provide additional instructional services.

To schedule a library instruction session, instructors can fill out the Request an Instructional Consultation form. For more, see Instructional Services & Resources.
