Requests may be made for Jerome Hall Law Library circulating books and audiovisual items. Please note that, at this time, we are unable to fill requests for books from other libraries.
How do I request materials?

You may request up to 10 items in one booking. A librarian will contact you within 48 hours to schedule a pick-up time.
Where can I pick up my items?
The pick up location is at the north end of IU Maurer School of Law, Bloomington (211 S Indiana Avenue) in the parking lot between the Law School and Bryan Hall. The parking lot is accessed from Indiana Avenue and is opposite 4th street.The Law School loading dock is located in this area. It is a good idea to bring your university ID in case the librarian needs to verify your identity.
If you arrive by car: Please arrive on time. If you miss your time slot, you will need to re-schedule. A librarian will be waiting in the parking lot, near the Law School loading dock. The librarian will wear a mask and gloves. Pop your trunk open from inside your vehicle. Your books will be in a bag. The librarian will place your books in the trunk and close it. You may exit onto Indiana Avenue.
If you arrive on foot: Please arrive on time. If you miss your time slot, you will need to re-schedule. Wear a mask and practice social distancing. The Librarian will be waiting for you in the parking lot, near the loading dock. The librarian will wear a mask and gloves and will place the the bag of books at a 6 ft distance for you to pick up and leave.
Library books can be returned to the Law Library circulation desk. Books may also be returned via curbside pick-up. Please email lawcirc@indiana.edu for an appointment.
