Updates to Interlibrary Loan Services

PALCI – new ILL resource coming summer 2024!

The library has been a member of ConnectNY since 2006. This membership provided our students, faculty, and staff the ability to request print materials from many libraries across the state through a shared catalog.

ConnectNY is ceasing operations at the end of the 2023-24 academic year.

We are pleased to announce that the library is joining the Partnership for Academic Library Cooperation and Innovation (PALCI). Our membership in PALCI will not only offer the same services as ConnectNY, it will also greatly expand the number of resources available through its extensive network of member libraries.

For more information on our transition from ConnectNY to PALCI this summer, please consult our PALCI page.

Introducing the Le Moyne Free Little Art Gallery

Free Little Art Galleries (FLAG) are like free little libraries, but for art! It’s a small cabinet in a public space that’s unlocked for anyone to give or take a small piece of art. Ours is located in the Noreen Reale Falcone Library on the first floor. Anyone is welcome to take a piece, leave a piece, or just have a look around and enjoy!

The Free Little Art Gallery is maintained by us, our campus community. The idea is for anyone to contribute and take from the gallery.

  • To contribute, simply leave your masterpiece inside the gallery.
  • To take a work, simply open the door and have your pick!

Please be mindful to leave the gallery looking tidy when dropping off or taking a piece.

Follow along on Instagram @lemoynelibrary and share your art with #lemoynelittlegallery or #lemoyneFLAG Want to find other free little art galleries? Find them on this map! Email library@lemoyne.edu with any questions.

Expressing Emotions and Thoughts

An Exhibit of the Work of Carol Adamec

January 4 – January 28

Join us on Thursday, January 18, at 3:30pm for the opening reception. Carol Adamec is an award-winning sculptor who works in steel, copper, bronze and brass. In short, Adamec has fun playing with different metals. Her pieces are inspired by the things she loves, for example, being in nature. Adamec’s work evokes calm and hope. She aims for her pieces to inspire others to take the time to “stop and smell the roses,” and to think about those things in their own lives that bring them joy.

The exhibit will run from January 4 – January 28. It is free and open to the public during regular library hours. For more information visit or call (315) 445-4333.

Wilson Art Gallery Exhibition: Illustrating Spain in the U.S.

September 5 – December 30

Join us on Tuesday, September 5, at 5:30pm for the opening reception and author talk with writer and curator, Ana Merino, and comic author article, Ana Penyas. The reception will be held in the Library. Here is the schedule.

  • 5:30 p.m. — Spanish and Latino-American Refreshments
  • 6:00 p.m. — Presentations by Ana Merino and Ana Penyas

Illustrating Spain in the U.S. is a creative dialogue about the role that Spaniards played in the history of the United States. This exhibit combines the graphic expressiveness of comics and their authors with the inquisitive perspective of scholars who have written a series of complementary articles. Comic creators have built comic strips that feed on academic knowledge and demonstrate that Spain has been part of America’s reality since before the U.S. was officially founded.

The exhibit will run from September 5 – December 30. It is free and open to the public during regular library hours. For more information visit or call (315) 445-4333.

Sponsored by the Spanish Embassy in Washington, D.C., in collaboration with the Department of World Languages, Literatures and Cultures, Lectures Committee and Hetterich Center for Global Engagement and Societal Impact.
