  1. A. Dean Larsen Book Collecting Conference

    An educational and social experience where professional and amateur book collectors gather to immerse themselves in the world of rare book collecting

    The Library hosts a number of exhibits throughout the building, highlighting Library collections via informative narratives creating engaging out-of-classroom learning experiences

    Computers available for use of the public

  4. Motion Picture Archive Series

    Free film showings in the Reynolds Auditorium

  5. Special Collections Classroom

    The Special Collections Classroom is primarily used to host library staff and faculty meetings, class/group presentations, and other library events

  6. Special Collections Donor Room

    The Special Collections Donor Room is primarily used to host library meetings; it doubles as an exhibit room where you can artifacts in connection to the Joseph Smith, Sr. family

  7. Special Collections Foyer

    The Special Collections Foyer is open to the public as a receiving space for Special Collections and also houses small-case exhibits for browsing

  8. Special Collections Instruction

    Staff in Special Collections are available to provide instruction/presentations to classes, ward groups, and other groups by appointment

  9. Special Collections Reading Room

    Archival materials such as rare book collections, manuscript collections, historic photograph collections, and vault materials can only be viewed in the Special Collections Reading Room

  10. Special Collections Reference Desk

    The staff at the Special Collections Reference Desk assist with identifying and accessing the materials held in Special Collections

  11. Special Collections Reference Room

    The Special Collections Reference Room contains a small collection of reference books on the topics of Mormon studies, rare book studies, archive studies, and manuscript registers

    The Seminar Room is primarily used for hosting Library staff and faculty meetings, small classes, or the group study of Special Collections materials
