Ghost towns of the Colorado Rockies has been specifically designed for those people who have a love for Colorado's yesterday but who do not own four wheel drive vehicles. For nearly three years the author has been compiling the information, collecting photographs, and doing research on a group of sixtey early mining and pioneer towns. Most are little known and yet nearly all may be visited in the family car. A few require short hikes; some may be reached on snowshoes if desired. |
