Are your expectations for research or inquiry-based assignments clear to students?

Do you have difficulties creating assignment handouts or guidance that convey these expectations?

In this workshop, part of the University Libraries Information Literacy Virtual Workshop Series, you will learn about the Transparency in Learning and Teaching (TILT) framework, developed by Mary-Ann Winkelmes. This model is intended to create more equitable learning experiences for all students by clarifying the purpose, tasks and criteria for assignments. You will learn about how you can apply this model to the design of your own research or inquiry-based assignments.

This virtual program will include automated captioning. If you require an accommodation such as live captioning or interpretation to participate in this event, please email libevents@osu.edu as soon as possible. Requests made at least one week prior to the event will generally allow us to provide seamless access, but the university will make every effort to meet requests made after this date.
