If you’re looking for something that Temple doesn’t own or is currently checked out, you can borrow books from other libraries through ILLiad and E-ZBorrow. Although ILLiad has more types of resources available, we recommend you try E-ZBorrow first since it has a quicker turnaround and longer loan periods.

Log in to E-ZBorrow with your 9-digit Temple ID number. Search for am item and follow prompts to select the book and a location for pickup. Books are typically received in 3-5 business days.  Loans are for 16 weeks, with no renewals, and are listed on your TU Library Account.

Log in to the ILLiad site with your TU Accessnet login. Select the type of material you are looking for under “New Request” on the left hand menu. After you submit your request, you will be notified via email when the material is ready for pickup. All due dates, renewal periods, and special conditions for material borrowed are determined by the lending institution. Material borrowed via ILLiad is subject to recall at any time.

You can request materials from libraries on other Temple campuses. For example, as a Main Campus student you can request materials from Ambler and Health Sciences Libraries only. Go to the Library Catalog and find the item you want to request. Click on the Request button at the top of the record. Log in and follow the instructions. Remember that you cannot request materials from libraries on your campus.
