About help-gnuastro	English (USA)
The GNU Astronomy Utilities (Gnuastro) is an official GNU package consisting of various programs and library functions (in C and C++) for the manipulation and analysis of astronomical data. All the programs share the same basic command-line user interface for the comfort of both the users and developers. Gnuastro is written to comply fully with the GNU coding standards so it integrates finely with the GNU/Linux operating system. This also enables astronomers to expect a fully familiar experience in the source code, building, installing and command-line user interaction that they have seen in all the other GNU software that they use. This mailing list is the official contact point between experienced Gnuastro users/developers and the larger user community. If you need help in using Gnuastro, please send an email to help-gnuastro@gnu.org. To avoid repetition (and possibly find your answer faster) please checkout the help-gnuastro Archives first. Subscribing to help-gnuastro
Subscribe to help-gnuastro by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
