From January to June of this year, the largest buyer was Guatemala, with $25 million, followed by Costa Rica, with $23 million, Panama, with $18 million, Honduras, with $17 million, El Salvador, with $13 million and Nicaragua, with $10 million.

In the first six months of the year, 44% of the value imported into the region was from Mexico, 18% from the U.S., 11% from China, 10% from South Korea, 2% from Turkey and 2% from Colombia.
