According to executives of the Guatemalan airline, the opening of this new route, which will be operated on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, is part of the growth plan that the company is currently executing.

The route is possible thanks to an alliance that TAG has with the Honduran CM Airlines, an agreement with which they hope to boost new operations to other cities in the Honduran Caribbean.

Carlos Murga, CEO of CM Airlines, highlighted that "... the objective of the companies is to maintain air communication in the region and that on the radar of the companies is to connect with Roatan, Guanaja, Utila, Puerto Lempira and San Pedro Sula."
