New Virtual Mall in Costa Rica
Monday, November 30, 2020
Lincoln Plaza began operating a virtual platform in which customers can purchase products that are sold in the physical stores that already operate in the property.
EPK, Uno Sports, Claire's, Totto, Xiami, Miniso, TOYS, Liberia Internacional, Opticas Munkel, Aldo Nero, Ibiza and GNC, are some of the stores that will offer their products through the new digital platform.

The new virtual mall began to operate in a context of changing purchasing habits and increased interest in e-commerce, changes in market conditions that arose due to the restrictions imposed by the outbreak of covid-19.

Federico Baltodano, Real Estate Portfolio Project Manager, told that "... We are sure that this platform will add to the efforts we have been making to support all our tenants in the midst of this national emergency. We want to offer our customers another channel to make purchases from their favorite stores in Lincoln Plaza from the comfort of their homes, being the first mall omnicanal in Costa Rica."

According to the platform's developers, shipments would be processed within 4 to 6 days, depending on the geographic area.

This is not the first virtual mall that competes in the Costa Rican market, since in July Avenida, a digital platform that initially concentrated 21 brands of restaurants and clothing, began operations, and the developers' plans are to bring together 150 stores by the end of 2020.
