In Honduras, construction and improvements of different electrical substations are planned.
CentralAmericaData's "Commercial Feasibility Studies" includes an up-to-date list of public and private construction projects that have submitted Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) to the respective institutions in each country.

"With financing from the Inter-American Development Bank, Empresa Nacional de Energia Electrica plans to build the Calpules, La Victoria and El Sitio substations in Honduras.

Also included is the expansion of the San Pedro Sula, Santa Marta, Progreso, Bermejo, Choloma, La Puerta, Circunvalacion, Comayagua, Villanueva and Zamorano substations.

In addition, there are plans to build the 138 Kv transmission line covering San Pedro Sula, Sur - Progreso.
