    • I apologize for missing this discussion (I don't know what happened, somehow I forgot about this). I was suggesting to add a link to view newbie's contributions: Special:Contributions/newbies. You can also consider showing the number of flooders too, as in Simplewiki. So the requested changes to /en would be (marked in yellow):

I tried it with MediaWiki:Recentchangestext/fi, but for some reason it does not work. It works on Commons, but I don't know why not here. --Stryn (talk) 17:11, 11 May 2013 (UTC)

NP, this affected old (undeleted) value of Translations:Template:Recentchanges/text/8/ru etc. Simple after auto-update translations to be update string #8 manually for all versions. I will do it. Please make this change again.--Kaganer (talk) 18:50, 1 August 2013 (UTC)

Perhaps we could use #ifexist: instead of letting users translate "en", which they may not know what it's supposed to be.

Good point. They are on Wikidata:Database reports/without claims by site (column Reports if it has "items (recent)"). (using ifexists ;) there)
