Creating properties

Hi!

It seems that you have tried to create a property "character animator" at Q64221184. In Wikidata we have a distinction between items and properties, and what you created is an item, so you will not be able to use it as a property as you probably expected. To get this created as a property, you need to propose it: see Wikidata:Property proposal. If you need any help with that process, let me know.

@Pintoch: Yeah, I already noticed. I also noticed that I'm not in the user group who are allowed to create new properties.

As far as I understand Help:Basic membership properties

• USS Nimitz (Q463161) "is an individual", "is a specific example", is a concrete example, is an instance (P31), of aircraft carrier (Q17205) and Nimitz-class aircraft carrier (Q309336), which are classes;
• Wilberforce (Q1759652) is an instance (P31) of house cat (Q146), which is a class;

therefore an actual AMD Phenom II X6 1090T in a computer is a concrete example and instance of (P31) of AMD Phenom II X6 1090T (Q66481199), which is a class. @Tinker Bell: Looks like it works like category for pictures taken with equipment (P2033). Maybe a bit late to request that, but can it work like Commons category (P373) where the links brings you right to the category on Commons? --D-Kuru (talk) 20:05, 22 January 2020 (UTC)

Frage zur Modellierung

Hi, ich habe da eine Frage zu war memorial Edelsinnstraße (Q91660999). Eine Verständnisfrage. Bei instance of (P31) und commemorates (P547) stehen zwei Einträge je of (P642)-Qualifikator. Ist das gleichwertig mit einem Eintrag wo beide vons gelistet werden oder macht das einen Unterschied? (Ich habe das an einer Stelle geändert, ohne die Information an anderer Stelle zu löschen) Kann mir vorstellen, dass das einfacher beim automationsunterstützten Anlegen ist. @Herzi Pinki: Keine Ahnung ob das einen Unterschied macht. Ich habe es vermutlich bei zwei Einträgen belassen, weil das mit QS besser funktioniert und weniger Aufwand ist. Von mir aus kann man auch beide in eines schreiben. Man sollte sich dann aber entscheiden welches der beiden, weil die Info dann sonst 4-fach eingetragen ist. Ich habe hier keine Präferenz und kannst es handhaben wie du willst.

Bezüglich automatisierter Auswertung: Möglich dass es da einen Unterschied gibt. 1) Müssten wir jemanden fragen der es macht und fragen was leichter/besser geht 2) macht das überhaupt wer?
