Edition data edit

I have expanded the RFC about references/sources to decide how to store edition data.--Micru (talk) 13:29, 16 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

I put your option on the talk page: 1) we want a solution for edition not for work or expression 2) for edition your proposition is redundant with the second proposition. We are speaking about that subject since several weeks and we need some decision in order to propose a policy for sourcing and for that we need to focus on very practical solutions. Snipre (talk) 18:10, 20 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
Hi Sj, please take a look to my last comments after the Hackathon, if that is an acceptable solution we should aim to close the RFC on June 15.--Micru (talk) 23:51, 30 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Invitation for the WikiProject COVID-19 call tomorrow (Monday, 15 of June) edit

Hello Samuel,

How are you? I hope things are all right.

This is (one more) reminder of the Wikiproject COVID-19 call, which will happen tomorrow (Monday, 15 of June) at 15:00 UTC .

This is the link for the call: https://meet.google.com/vtp-ighz-npx

This is the link for the etherpad: https://etherpad.wikimedia.org/p/wikidata_covid_notes

The WikiProject seems to be losing momentum. Perception of the size of COVID-19 as an enormous problem is fading (at least in Brazil). That might be a sign of things getting better, but it is also very dangerous (as they might not be that better yet).

In tomorrow's call, I would like to discuss with you two important and related questions:

- How can this WikiProject best serve the anti-COVID-19 effort?

- What can this project offer for the post-COVID-19 Wikidata world?

As usual, if you have any topics to add, you can do so either before at the Project Meeting Page or at the meeting. or at the meeting.

I hope you can make it!

Your contributions for the meting have been great!

All the best,

Tiago

Hi TiagoLubiana, sorry -- things got quite hectic here :) How are you doing and how can we reconnect about this? Sj (talk) 17:33, 24 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
Hello @Sj:, got a bit busy here too. It seems that people lost a bit of interest in the WikiProject (vacations + pandemic contention in many places). I have stopped organizing the meetings, after a really low quorum on the last one. Do you think it is worth it to try and start doing the meetings again? TiagoLubiana (talk) 20:37, 24 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
I sense the same. Yes, it seems worth restarting; the challenges of making sense of conflicting sources, and the need for clear data, are only growing. Sj (talk) 03:45, 26 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
