Please note that, in some cases, you may access CCC’s services through the website of a participating copyright rightsholder, such as a publisher or one of our integration partners (e.g., a course management system provider). In those cases, you will be directed to a webpage within this Website, and it is CCC that will be collecting your information, even though you may continue to see the copyright rightsholder’s branding or logo. CCC will share your information with the copyright rightsholder as described in the “Disclosure of Personal Information” section of this Privacy Policy.

Some of our pages utilize framing techniques to serve content to/from our partners while preserving the look and feel of this Website. Please be aware that you are providing your personal information to these third parties and not to CCC.

Referrals: If you choose to use our referral service to tell a friend about this Website, we will ask you for your friend’s name and email address. We will automatically send your friend a one-time email inviting them to visit this Website. We will store this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email. CCC complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (“EU-U.S. DPF”), the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF (“UK Extension”), and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (“Swiss-U.S. DPF”) as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce. CCC has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the principles set forth in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, the UK Extension and the Swiss-U.S. DPF (collectively, the “Principles”) with regard to the processing of personal data received from the European Union, the United Kingdom, and from Switzerland.
