Welcome to WikiProject Democracy! This project aims at improving and maintaining the democratic structures within the Wikimedia movement by:

• making them more visible,
• making participation in voting, elections, and centralized discussion easier by providing and spreading links,
• and building a forum and community of contributors who like the idea of democratic wiki collaboration and cooperation.
