Lock and hide request

Global lock/unlock for Fil burms

Global lock for 5 usernames

  • These users have global accounts (en.wiki, et.wiki). They appeared today around 09UTC and were blocked without waiting. Although there are worse and better names, I recommend to lock all of them or take some other actions. User number 5 has been renamed locally on et.wikipedia during some tests to make the situation better, but it should be deleted too ("Kustutada-001" on et.wiki). I guess the names need no comments.
Accounts are never deleted, just locked/hidden, and they're all locked & hidden already. Ionek 13:08, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
Already done. Accounts could be hidden from logs, but only by stewards for now--Nick1915 - all you want 13:12, 26 March 2009 (UTC)

Requests for global permissions

Global rollback for Razorflame

I concur with the below statement that this might be a bit early for this, however, since I joined the SWMT, there have been vandal outbreaks in which I have been hampered by having the use the undo tool when I got vandals making edits very fast. I already am a member of the rollbacker groups on both the English and Simple English Wikipedias, and I am an administrator on the Simple English Wiktionary, so therefore, I really do think that I know when and when not to use the rollback tool. Thanks, and thank you for your time, Razorflame 00:41, 27 February 2009 (UTC)

Done, thanks for helping, best regards, --birdy geimfyglið (:> )=| 15:43, 3 March 2009 (UTC)

Global rollback for NuclearWarfare

No consenus to promote , pleas keeup good work and feel free to reapply in one or two month --Mardetanha talk 20:05, 14 March 2009 (UTC)

Hello there all. I have been working in SWMT and also with some SBL stuff for about the past two weeks. I haven't been the most active user, but I believe that I have been moderately active in helping to remove spam and vandalism, both of which would be easier with global rollback. For global-related things (other requests seemed to include them): I have a fully unified global account. I'm a rollbacker and account creator at the English Wikipedia and a trusted user at Commons. Having global rollback would make it much easier to handle simple vandalism and spam. Thank you for your time, NuclearWarfare 01:37, 5 March 2009 (UTC)

  • This user has been very active in the small wiki counter vandalism channel, and I can see a net positive in granting this user the global rollback. Razorflame 22:25, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
  • Hello, reviewing the activity crosswiki I must say   not yet, the help is much appreciated but IMHO all is too recent for granting global rollback yet. Please keep up the good work and apply in some weeks, thanks, --birdy geimfyglið (:> )=| 23:30, 6 March 2009 (UTC)
  • The local sysop responded very kind to my message and explained the block understandable, but he undid the block. It did look like vandalism to remove the whole external link section without giving any reasoning. I know that this can happen to users working in that area, but also keep in mind to give reasons for Your actions if they can be taken controversial, to not confuse the local communities. Best regards, --birdy geimfyglið (:> )=| 13:25, 8 March 2009 (UTC)
  • Ah, yes, thank you. It seemed obvious enough to me, but it clearly wouldn't be to anyone who didn't look up my global contributions (and who would, anyway). Also, I trust you to know what is best for the sw cvn, so if you feel that I am not ready for GR (which is probably understandable), go ahead and close this request please. NuclearWarfare 19:43, 8 March 2009 (UTC)
  • I'm very much of the same opinion as birdy to say   not yet. I see two or three weeks of activity only, which is a bit too early for GR. Please keep up the good work and get some more experience and re-apply in one or two months. When you need to revert a vandal that affected lots of pages on a wiki without local sysops available, you can always ask for a short temp sysopship for that wiki in the stewards' IRC channel. Maybe you should make a user page on all wikis, to avoid misunderstandings as in ksh.wiki recently. (Ask Pathoschild to globally create it per script.) --Thogo (talk) 11:22, 11 March 2009 (UTC)

Global rollback for Herbythyme

I was maybe a bit premature in dropping this one! Today I've been playing with ass puss across wikis and realised it might still be used by me. If folks feel like re-granting the rights, fine, if not it will not bother me. Thanks --Herby talk thyme 10:42, 25 March 2009 (UTC)
