TODO edit

To finally finish (printed) proceedings the following task remain:

  • briefly describe additional events
  • complete the Introduction
  • add a printable timetable Introduction
  • complete the list of People who organised the conference
  • add video and slides field for each presentation/paper (in the template only!) - you'll find most of the links here at commons
  • finish/collect missing abstracts
  • format all pages in a more-or-less uniform layout (data, titles, references...)
  • how about translations? (do we want them? where do we put them? how do we control them?)
Sabine Cretella is working with translators on this. Sj
Sorry, but I cannot do anything on the translations until I do know which text is a finished version and therefore is not going to be changed anymore. As for presentations that are uploaded on commons: these cannot be translated when they are only in pdf format. At least an open format like OOo is required.--SabineCretella 19:21, 1 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Sabine! I'm verry sorry that we cannot provide a plan or easy way - I would tend to translate abstracts only. -- JakobVoss 22:02, 1 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
  • create a printable version

Small questions:

  • What is Talk:Wikimania05/DEV ? can we move it or delete it?
This is a proceeding paper from J. C. TALL, who was scheduled to come but had flight problems and could not attend. It should be included as its own paper, ideally.
Sorry - without english abstract a cannot decide anything. I tend to reject. -- JakobVoss 13:26, 23 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]
I gave the proposed paper an English abstract and outline. Basically, he proposed organizing WIKI Africa to engage African contributors, share knowledge about Africa with the world, and make the WIKI knowledgebase more available in Africa. Betsythedevine 02:30, 29 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
