Friends Historical Association
The Friends Historical Association is dedicated to the study, preservation, and publication of material relating to the history of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers). Founded in Philadelphia in 1873, the FHA has become an organization that is international in membership and interests, and that anyone, Friend or not, is invited to join.
Since 1906, FHA has published a journal now known as Quaker History, which is published semi-annually in the Fall and Spring and consists of illuminating articles on Quaker contributions to issues such as social justice, education, and literature. The peer-reviewed journal also includes book and article reviews.
