MANILA (UPDATE) - The Philippines on Sunday received 469,200 doses of Moderna's COVID-19 vaccine.
Some 319,200 of the doses were procured by the national government, while 150,000 doses were bought by the private sector.
The shipment arrived on Singapore Airlines SQ912 at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 at 3:20 p.m. Sunday.

A total of 12,460,438 have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, while 15,092,332 have yet to receive their second dose as of Saturday, vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr. said during a press conference.
This accounts for 17.59 percent of the target population, or 11.31 percent of the total population.

The Philippines aims to inoculate 58 million in Metro Manila and other urban areas to revive its economy, which emerged from recession in the second quarter.

Galvez said the country is expecting 14 million more vaccine doses to arrive in the country.
He also asked the public for patience, and warned those who are already getting their booster shots.
"This is still forbidden, 'yung booster shots. Nakita natin napakaliit na porsyento ng population natin ang fully vaccinated. Nakita natin na more than 10 percent pa lang ang ating fully vaccinated, and there are more Filipinos, more than 90 million Filipinos are still working to be vaccinated," Galvez said.
"So we are asking our people to be patient. Kailangan we have to be morally, morally obliged, that we need to wait for our turn. At the same time, when we are finished, let the other people also finish their turn," he added.
The capital region is under enhanced community quarantine, the strictest in a 4-step lockdown, from August 6 to 20 to arrest the spread of the highly transmissible Delta variant.
No agreement among Metro Manila mayors on extended ECQ, says MMDA chief
Galvez said there is no decision yet whether the ECQ will be further extended.
