Labor group calls for ABS-CBN franchise renewal

Press freedom and workers’ rights advocates join ABS-CBN employees during a solidarity event calling for the renewal of the ABS-CBN franchise outside the House or Representatives on Monday. The House Committee on Legislative Franchises, together with the Committee on Good Government and Public Accountability, may vote on the network's franchise application on Monday after the 12th hearing which focuses on ABS-CBN’s news reporting.
