Joining the Library

Joining is free, if you live, work or study in Norfolk. Please use your term-time address.

Just fill in our online form and you will be sent a temporary borrower number and a welcome pack, giving you details of how to collect and start using your new library card. 

Every member of the family can join, at any age, and there are no overdue charges (fines) for children and young people under 16 with their own card.

If you are already a member and have not used us in the last 3 years, please go to your local library; sorry that we are unable to renew your membership online at present.

By submitting your online joining form you agree to the library conditions of use. Our Privacy Statement explains how we use information that you give us.

If you wish to apply for a group membership, please contact your local library.

Acceptance

To join yourself or any dependents on line you need to be 16 years old or over.  If you are applying on behalf of a young person in your household you will need act as guarantor.  This means you will take responsibility for the terms and conditions of use for the card.
