Permissions for Classroom Use

Select NYU Press titles are available through the Copyright Clearance Center for immediate approval on all educational uses, including photocopying for course packets and electronic reserve.

Examination & Desk Copies

NYU Press is pleased to offer complimentary desk and examination copies to qualified educators.

For US customers only: To request a desk copy or exam copy, please locate the page for the title you are interested in receiving and click on the “Request Exam or Desk Copy” link. This link will bring you to a form that you will need to fill out in order to submit a formal request. 

Please note that there is a limit of three titles or fewer per person per school year. Requests for more than three books will be denied.
