Probably should make time for this soon, given how long the outage has been. I'm going to try to look into this week as a broadly related MediaWiki CodeJam Dec 2023 project.

Noting we also need to adjust the various bash scripts to work with k8s instead of the grid, as they are currently written.

The bot has been down since June (T339145), so we might as well resolve this.

For the second question: what I actually want to say is that "will user receive notification (provided by Echo extension) when a message left by a bot with bot flag applied". Sorry for the confusion here. Well, yes, it is enough to left message for user who upload the file.

Can do! @Shizhao we do not have a language file for zh, only zh-hans and zh-hant. Which should we use? I am guessing the former since you contributed to it.

@Rubin16: Do not change the status of a task only to get attention to some followup question. This task is about deploying the Commons deletion notification bot on ruwiki, and that is resolved. Thanks.

As a question: is it possible to restrict notifications to discussion-based deletions, speedy nominations seem to be too many and mostly presented by usual copyvio that wouldn’t be fixed by users attracted by notifications.
