| Summary |
A retired professor of American origin lives a solitary life revolving around his collection of paintings. He is confronted by a vulgar Italian marchesa and her companions: her lover, her daughter, and daughter's boyfriend. After being strong-armed into renting them an apartment on the top floor of his luxurious Roman palazzo, the professor's quiet routine is turned into chaos. |
