Guidelines for All Campus Visitors
Duke still has limited facilities and activities for visitors, but campus is reopening with public health measures in place. Visitors should check this site before coming to campus and follow direction provided by campus personnel while visiting.
To protect the health and safety of our campus and local communities, all visitors to Duke are strongly encouraged to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to coming to campus. Visitors must also comply with Duke’s masking requirements.

Masks Requirements on Campus
Masks are required on the Duke campus in all indoor locations. Masks are also required on all Duke buses and shuttles, as well as bus stops. These requirements apply to all students, faculty, staff and visitors regardless of vaccination status.
Individuals on campus no longer need to wear masks in outdoor congregate settings, including athletic events. However, people are encouraged to carry a mask to wear in the event social distancing cannot be effectively maintained in outdoor settings.

Duke GardensOpen to the public with limited parking and entry; see the website for schedule of events and more information.
Nasher MuseumMuseum and Cafe are open to the public with limited hours. Please check the Hours & Admissions page of the Nasher website for the current schedule.
Duke DiningIndoor group seating at Duke Dining facilities will be temporarily suspended. All Duke Dining facilities will transition to grab and go; check availability
Duke ChapelOpen to the public from 10 am – 8 pm daily unless noted on the Chapel calendar. Also open for Sunday in-person worship. Please visit the Chapel website for the current schedule of events.
Cameron Indoor StadiumClosed except for athletics events.
Duke LibrariesOpen to students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Masks are required. No food is allowed. Please see the Library’s Masking Requirements policy page for library-specific information.

Duke’s Office of Undergraduate Admissions hosts virtual information sessions and live virtual tours for prospective undergraduate students. Prospective graduate and professional students should contact school programs directly for details on information sessions and other activities.
