Can I reuse a cover from The Economist?
Yes, but you must use this in its entirety (including logo and cover lines). Please contact rights@economist.com with the relevant cover to request a link to RightsLink. A fee is charged for this re-use.

Can I reuse photographs, cartoons or illustrations?
The Economist does not typically hold the rights to photographs, cartoons or illustrations. You will need to contact the copyright holder directly, who should be detailed in the bottom right hand corner of the image.

Can I reuse a chart or map from The Economist?
Yes, please submit your request through RightsLink. A fee is charged for this re-use.

Can I use content from The Economist in a School, University or further education institution? 
Please check whether your institution has a licence to reuse content with the relevant Reproduction Rights Organisation (RRO) in your territory. If your intended use is not covered by a licence or statutory exception to copyright, you must submit a request for this use through RightsLink or Marketplace.

How do I request to reuse content from The World in?

Should I include an author in the credit? 
Typically, there are no bylines for articles from The Economist. If no author is listed, please simply credit The Economist.

How can I use a copy of The Economist as a prop or stage dressing in my TV or theatre production?
