Drama Breakouts Out at Mobile Legends Southeast Asia Cup 2018

The Mobile Legends Southeast Asia Cup 2018, considered one of the most prestigious tournaments of the year for the region has encountered some major mishaps, as AirAsia Saiyan from Malaysia & I DO NOT SLEEP from Thailand complained that they had technical issues during their matches.

Both teams who played at the same side of the stage reported that one of the players experienced unusual technical errors when their character would use skills without pressing any keys on their devices.

After taking their complains into consideration, the developer of the game, Moonton, investigated the issue and published a statement regarding the situation on the official Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Facebook page.

The statement basically states that after investigating the issue reported by the players, the appeals were justified and there will be a rematch of these matches to be played with the condition that the players must use the same heroes as the previous game.

However, the post has since been taken down and now the official word is that there will be no rematch at all. Moonton has not issue any further official statement on the official Mobile Legends Facebook page, as of this point.

Understandably, IDNS TH & AirAsia Saiyan are extremely upset at the situation and feel they deserve a remake, since the developers themselves has confirmed the issue was their fault and the players couldn’t do anything to fix it.

AirAsia has also released a statement regarding the issue on their Facebook page.
