No more elbow pain

For a few weeks about a year ago I had a sharp pain in both elbows. It was difficult to rest my arms on my desk or computer table. Leaning in front of the fireplace to build a fire was also painful.

At first, thinking the pain would just go away, I didn’t give it much thought, although it was something I had to deal with every day.

Then one day when I was studying the weekly Bible Lesson from the Christian Science Quarterly, this quote from the Christian Science textbook caught my attention: “Man is not matter; he is not made up of brain, blood, bones, and other material elements. The Scriptures inform us that man is made in the image and likeness of God” (Mary Baker Eddy, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 475).
