I am getting sick and tired of the assumption that #GTK+ necessarily comes with the #GNOME desktop. One may want to use GTK-based graphical programs without wanting to use that utter piece of crap that is GNOME.

If you develop a program that requires GNOME, then for fuck sake state that it requires GNOME! Do not say it requires “only GTK” if it won’t compile without a libgnome-something!
