Interview with Dr. Charlie Clements
New children’s books about Central America are few and far between and the U.S. publishing industry has let several outstanding works on the region go out of print. We urge publishers to address this scarcity of books about Central America and by Central American authors. Given the lack of good books in print, we have included a few out of print titles on this list.
Most of the books on these lists are linked for more information or purchase to Bookshop (an indie bookstore platform) and / or Powells.com (an independent, unionized bookstore). A small percentage from book sales through these links goes to Teaching for Change.
